A few months ago, on a random Thursday afternoon, our Singles team got an email from my day-job company CustomInk.com’s President that his brother stumbled upon what might be an interesting challenge for our team and the company.   Remember when VP Biden was over heard live on the microphone after a speech telling  President Obama that Health Care was a “Big f#*king deal.”?  The article below is what our President Marc Katz’ brother found which highlights an idea that the President of the United States jokingly had after the event.

Upon reading the email, our team quickly turned the Presidents’ requests  into reality.  My hand in the process was to quickly whip up a design that plays on VP Biden’s take on Health Care.  Nothing too serious on the graphic design aspect, just something simple and quirky.  We created shirts for the President, the VP, and the First Lady, overnighted it to the White House and hoped for the best.

Months later, we got a letter from the White House expressing their gratitude for our gift signed by the President and the First Lady.  It was a nice unexpected surprise for the team.  We hope he likes it and hope to see him wear it someday.
